What's near your hotel

North, Corralejo. Trips to Lobos, buggies and Acua Water Park. It's also the port for Lanzarote.

Centre, Caleta de Fuste. Boat trips with lunch, kayaks, paddleboards and the floating water park.

South, Morro Jable and Costa Calma. Dolphins and whales from Morro Jable, buggies at Costa Calma. Sightings are never guaranteed. For Oasis Wildlife, check your transport first, because not every hotel is close.

Lobos: get the permit first

Islote de Lobos has a condition not every listing mentions. To land there you need an authorisation from the Cabildo, the island council. It's free, you get it through LobosPass, and visitor numbers are capped. Visit Fuerteventura asks you to do it at least 5 days ahead.

Before you buy a ferry or catamaran, check whether the product includes that permit. If it doesn't, get the permit first.

Without a hire car

The island is long, and tours with hotel pick-up save a lot of effort: buggies, snorkelling or the guided tour with lunch. To see the whole island in a day, look at the guided tours on this page.
