Guided trip or free time
Trips leave mainly from Málaga and Seville, and come in two types. Some have a guide, others just bring you here and give you free time, which is enough if you don't need commentary. Before you buy, check how many hours you get in Ronda and whether the bullring is included.
From Seville, many trips pair Ronda with Setenil or white villages, and that makes a long day. Compare day trips from Seville and from Málaga.
The one ticket that matters
Crossing the Puente Nuevo and walking the old town cost nothing, and that's a good part of the visit. The ticket to buy is the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza, the bullring and its museum: €10, or €12 with an audio guide. It opens daily at 10:00 and closes at 18:00 from November to February, 19:00 in March and October, and 20:00 from April to September. The official site warns of consolidation work on the building, so some areas may be affected.
If you stay the night
You'll have time for Bodega Doña Felisa, with a tour and tasting, the guided three-level via ferrata or the Tajo gorge walkways. Book those ahead.
