Football tickets in Spain

Real Madrid: club channels only

Real Madrid says its only official channels are its website and Entradas.com, for football and basketball, and that it won't deal with problems on tickets bought anywhere else. A socio (club member) or Madridista ticket is personal and non-transferable: security can ask for ID and refuse you entry or remove you.

Away fans, take care: the club reserves the right to refuse entry to visiting supporters holding tickets bought through other channels. Every spectator needs their own ticket, babies included.

Barça and the rest

Barça has its own official channel. Always look there before you pay: the price comes from the club's own list, and you know who answers if something goes wrong.

Seven products cover Barça in Barcelona, Atlético in Madrid, Sevilla in Seville, Athletic Club in Bilbao, Real Sociedad in San Sebastián and RCD Mallorca. A third party sells them, not the club, and they make sense when the official sale has nothing left. The price changes with each match and seats may run out: nobody guarantees you a place until your ticket is confirmed. There's nothing for Real Madrid, Málaga or Oviedo.

Resale: what you risk

Buying from a third party can break a club's rules, and each club has its own terms, so read them. Ask the seller who issues the ticket, whose name it's in and what happens if you're turned away.
