A day in Cádiz city

You'll do almost everything here on foot. The Cathedral opens from 10:00, except on Sundays, when it starts at 13:30. The Museo de Cádiz is free for EU citizens and residents; everyone else pays €1.50. If you'd rather not walk, the hop-on hop-off bus covers the city on a 48-hour ticket. There's also a walking tour of the main sights.

Let the horses set your dates

The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art performs at 12:00, and only on scheduled days. Check that date before you book anything else, then build the trip around it. Fill the rest of your Jerez day with Palacio Domecq, Jerez Cathedral or a bodega. Official prices for the main sights are in Cathedral, bodegas and Royal School.

Book the bodega after the Royal School. Most of the rest you can buy as you go.

Trips from the bay

Tours leave Cádiz, El Puerto and Jerez for Gibraltar and, by ferry, Tangier. Coming from Seville, day trips combine Cádiz and Jerez, but leave you little time in each.
