Catamaran, sailing boat or private trip

A catamaran carries more people and is the cheaper choice, and many departures add live music, jazz or a barbecue. Some have a party atmosphere, so read the listing if you're bringing children.

A sailing boat takes smaller groups and usually includes drinks and snacks, at a higher price per person. With six or more of you, look at a private trip too, which can come close to the cost of separate seats.

Las Golondrinas for a simple harbour trip

These are the classic harbour boats. The 40-minute trip, €9, stays inside the port, among big cruise ships and marinas. The 60-minute trip, €13, also goes out along the coast, with the beaches and the city skyline.

Take the hour, because the open water is what changes the view. The 40-minute trip doesn't run every day either: it had no departures on 4 November 2026. Look at the calendar before you count on it.

Sunset trips and what to check

Can I book a ferry to Mallorca, Menorca or Ibiza here?

No. This page only covers trips that leave from and return to Barcelona. The Balearic ferry is a scheduled service that you buy from the ferry company.

Which boat trip is best for sunset?

A catamaran with music if you want a lively crowd, or a small-group sailing boat if you want it quiet. Check the departure time for your date, because it moves with the sunset.
