The Tower of Jesus Christ was blessed and opened on 10 June 2026. Its interior is still under construction, with work planned in 2027 and 2028, and the official ticket only lets you climb the Nativity or the Passion tower.
Sales open about two months ahead and depend on capacity, so a particular slot can run out.

Official site first, sellers second
If your date and time are available on the official website, buy there. It's the cheapest place: €26 with audio guide, €30 with a guided tour of about 50 minutes, €36 with a tower.
The sellers on this page cost more. They earn it in two cases: the slot you wanted has gone from the official site, or you want a guide in a small group. They don't have places at every time either, so check several.
Stay away from private sellers and resale offers on social media. The official terms allow only authorised distributors and partners to sell tickets, and a resold ticket can be cancelled with no refund.
Your slot has gone: what to try, in order
- Another day on the official site.
- A ticket with a tour or audio guide from the cards on this page.
- The QR codes around the basilica once you're there, if there's still capacity. Treat this as the last resort.
Mass is free to attend, with limited capacity, but it doesn't replace a visit.
Paying €10 more for a tower
You choose the Nativity tower, facing east, or the Passion tower, facing the centre. The Tower of Jesus Christ isn't part of the visit: its interior is still under construction.
Two catches before you pay: under-6s can't go up, and if the tower closes you don't get that money back. The crypt isn't included either.
What gets people turned away at the door
Your ticket carries your name and can't be transferred, so bring a passport or ID. Arrive late and you won't get in. As a general rule there are no changes or refunds, and any request must go in at least 48 hours ahead. Under-16s must be with an adult, and any discount or free entry is checked as you enter.
Barcelona residents get 50% off on request in advance. Visitors from abroad usually won't qualify for that or for the DARDE free entry, so plan on the prices above.

Stepping inside felt like walking into a magical light cathedral. The towering tree-like columns, kaleidoscopic stained-glass windows, and flowing natural light create a dreamlike atmosphere no outdoor photo can capture. Booking a timed ticket in advance is essential to avoid missing out on one of the most unique architectural wonders in the world."

The Sagrada Familia is beautiful. The guide was knowledgeable. He knew a lot about the religious information. My only concern was that we paid $517 Cdn to be on a small group tour and their were over 20 people in our group. The crowds were so big, it was hard to stay together.

Our Guide was very knowledgeable and the earphones were extremely helpful. The tour was run efficiently and effectively. The Sagrada Familia cathedral was spectacular. I cna see why it is the most popular attraction in Barcelona, and we enjoyed it very much.

The kindness and patience of the people working there was unforgettable as the Light and Gaudie's presence in the temple. This makes the visit to Sagrada spiritual expience on it's own. We are grateful
