What the visit is like
There's no guide: you go in as a group, follow the staff and use a leaflet. The route has steps and the floor can be slippery, so wear comfortable shoes. It isn't recommended with claustrophobia or heart problems. It's 17–20°C inside, and photos aren't allowed during the concert.
Official site or excursion
The sellers we work with don't offer the plain ticket: everything listed here is an excursion with transport. With a car, the official site charges €1 less than the ticket office, fixes your time and lets you walk straight to the cave entrance. Parking is free.
Without a car, an excursion deals with the trip to Porto Cristo. Check that it includes the ticket and what stops it adds: pearls, Hams or a cruise.
Picking an entry time
The caves say their quietest visits are the first of the morning and the last ones of the afternoon. From 1 November to 15 March there are only four entries a day, so buy at the last minute and your time may be gone.
Leave a margin. An online ticket skips the ticket office, but the car park is 200 metres away and you're asked to arrive 15 minutes early. Miss your entry and you lose the ticket: no changes, no refunds. More plans in Mallorca.

- ★★★★★
Highly recommended experience! The hotel pick up was great-one less thing to worry about. Toni, the guide, was brilliant in his explanations and information about both the caves and the surrounding area: I found out why there's a museum dedicated to Nadal! The caves are beautiful and the atmosphere created by the live music is very evocative! If it lasted a bit more, it would be even better!

Cave of Hams and Cave of Drach are both incredible and well worth seeing. I thoroughly enjoyed both, but felt the caves of drach specifically is just a little too people busy.
