Two hours or four
Two hours gives you a swim and some snorkelling, and it's usually enough with small children. Three or four hours takes up half your day, and the 4-hour catamaran and sailing trips bring snacks or a meal. Small groups cost more but put fewer people on board.
Where they leave from
Look for the departure nearest your hotel.
- Palma: the widest choice, with catamarans, sailing boats and a dolphin-watching trip.
- Alcúdia and Pollença: half-day catamarans along the north. If you're staying there, don't come down to Palma.
- Santa Ponça: the boat to Dragonera island, handy for the Calvià area.
- Elsewhere: a glass-bottom catamaran on the east coast, a boat tour to Caló des Moro and small-group sailing from Portocolom.
A full day without a car
There are hop-on hop-off bus and boat combos, and an island tour by bus, train, tram and boat. Some Caves of Drach excursions also add a boat ride.
What you won't find here
Ferries to Menorca, Ibiza or the mainland are scheduled transport, and this selection has no Cabrera trip. Departures depend on the season and the sea, so check each product's calendar before counting on a date.

Highly recommended experience! The hotel pick up was great-one less thing to worry about. Toni, the guide, was brilliant in his explanations and information about both the caves and the surrounding area: I found out why there's a museum dedicated to Nadal! The caves are beautiful and the atmosphere created by the live music is very evocative! If it lasted a bit more, it would be even better!

The crew was fabulous and the day went so smoothly. Special Thanks to the one who had made the soundtrack for the cruise. It was like a cherry on a cake!

Very nice trip, the crew were doing the best to feel good, they provide us with lifejacket vest and snorkeling stuff. We enjoyed the music and the bar on bord.

Absolutely gutted to arrive and discover the boat had no record of our rescheduled time in spite of our email proving it had been accepted. Headout had not informed them. Fortunately Robinson cruises offered an alternative on the day and dealt with the situation very professionally. I would never again use nofrills/ headout. Go straight to the company website. A poor start to our day.
