Dated ticket or ticket office

Online with a date, general admission starts at €19.90, against €29.50 at the ticket office. Open-date tickets save nothing, as they cost the same as the ticket office. The online price moves with the date, so compare your day on the official calendar with the cards on this page. Child tickets are for ages 3 to 7 and general from 8. Under-3s don't pay.

Zoo and Faunia

The Zoo Madrid + Faunia pack costs €39.90 and is valid on any opening day until 31 December of the current year, with no fixed date. At the lowest online prices two separate tickets come to €36.80, though that minimum isn't available every day. The guide to zoos and aquariums compares other cities.

Parking, picnics and closing time

There's free parking opposite the entrance, and picnic areas if you bring food from home. By metro, Casa de Campo station is 900 metres away, which you'll notice with a pushchair.

Entry stops an hour before closing, but don't cut it fine. Some animals go to their sleeping quarters before closing, and the displays have their own timetables, so check the programme as you enter.
