Which ticket to buy

The house sells each level separately: €12 for the main floor (planta principal), €6 for the upper floor (planta alta). Sellers call the main floor the “ground floor”, and that's what nearly every card here includes. If the title says “ground floor”, you're not going upstairs.

Children up to 11 go free with an adult, and so do people with a disability above 65%, with proof.

Audio guide or a real guide

The official individual ticket already includes a guide or audio guide, on a device or to download, in English and six other languages. Before buying a card with “audio guide” in the title, compare it with the house's own site. Paying extra for that alone isn't worth it, and for an independent visit the official site is enough.

A guide in person is different, and worth it for the stories of the family and the collection. Guided tours on this page last 1 to 2 hours.

Fitting it into your day

It's open daily from 09:00 to 18:00, with no weekly closing day, about ten minutes' walk from the Alcázar and Cathedral, on the edge of the old Jewish quarter. Keep it for any gap, including a Monday when other monuments are shut.
