The €15.50 ticket and what it covers
The official site is the cheapest way in: €15.50 general, €8 reduced. The reduced rate covers over-65s, students and Carnet Joven (youth card) holders aged 14 to 30, whatever your nationality. Your ticket also covers the Antiquarium, Casa Fabiola and the Museo de Cerámica de Triana.
The Cuarto Real Alto, the upper royal rooms, is a €5.50 supplement. The ticket office only holds places for the standard visit, so decide on it before you travel.
Pick your slot first
Entry runs in 30-minute slots with limited capacity, and online tickets can sell out in advance on high-demand dates. With only two nights in Seville, choose this time first and fit the Cathedral, flamenco and the boat around it. Choose carefully: officially, tickets can't be changed or rescheduled, even after an honest mistake.
Paying a seller makes sense when you want a guide, or when the official site has run out.
Sold out on the official site
Official ticketing says plainly that there are no waiting lists, early releases or alternative channels. That leaves two options.
- The Patio de Banderas ticket office. It opens at 09:00, sells for that day only and holds back a very limited number of tickets per slot. On busy dates the advice is to arrive at least an hour before it opens. Nobody can buy for anyone else: everyone in your group has to stand in the queue with a passport or DNI (Spanish ID card).
- The tickets and tours on this page. See if your date still has space, and read each card's cancellation terms.
Free entry still needs a ticket
The “Lunes Gratuito” (Free Monday) ticket is issued online at €0 and can show as sold out, so don't plan around it. Children up to 13 go free with an adult, and people born or living in Seville city go free but must book. Bring your ID: staff ask for it at the entrance too.

Really enjoyed our visit to Alcazar of Seville. It was a bit diffiult to find the correct entrance for online tickets and we did still have to queue up but it only took a few minutes wait. Also, if you need to shawl to cover your shoulders, you can buy that inside for 3 euros.

Carlos was a wonderful guide. He provided insights and a commentary that provided our group with an understanding of the prevailing political, religious and culturaldd contexts. He was personable, engaging and had a great sense of humour. I highly recommend this tour especially if it is lead by Carlos.

Nothing. It never happened. After taking my money and sending confirmation and tickets you cancelled 2 hours later, promising a refund.
