Tickets and tours

Each seller's price in euros, depending on date and time. These are affiliate links: if you buy, we earn a commission and you pay the same.

Free tour or paid walk

On a free tour you pay the tip you choose, and groups tend to be bigger. It works for finding your feet on day one. Paid walks in Triana, Santa Cruz or the Jewish quarter have a set price, and some cap groups at 10.

Bus, boat or wheels

The hop-on hop-off bus pays off if you'd rather not walk much or it's very hot. There are two operators, and one ticket lasts two days. The Torre del Oro cruise takes an hour and shows you the city from the river. Others run to two and a half hours, or add a drink and a snack.

To cover more ground without a bus, there's a two-hour e-bike tour or a private electric tuk tuk. Further out, see day trips.

Tours that include your ticket

The Royal Alcázar can sell out online, and a tour with entry gives you a guide and a time slot in one purchase. One Alcázar ticket also adds a free walking tour. At the Cathedral and Giralda you mainly pay for the commentary. With only one morning, a joint tour of both does the planning for you.

Quieter guided visits of around an hour and a half run at the Archivo de Indias, the Museum of Fine Arts, Palacio de las Dueñas and Casa de Pilatos.

Frequently asked questions

Is a free walking tour in Seville really free?

It has no fixed price, but the guide lives on tips and expects one. If you want to know the cost upfront, a paid walking tour is clearer.

How long is a boat trip on the Guadalquivir?

The cruise from the Torre del Oro lasts an hour. There are options of one hour, an hour and a half and two and a half hours.

Which hop-on hop-off bus runs in Seville?

This page has two, Alsa and CitySightseeing, both hop-on hop-off. One of the tickets is valid for two days.

Which guided tour should I book first?

The Royal Alcázar, because official places can sell out. A guided tour gets you the ticket and the commentary in one purchase.
