The Paseo del Arte and the Umbracle's Jardín de Astronomía are free to enter. The buildings charge admission. Ages 0–3 go in free.
Booking
Online, at the ticket office or through authorised sellers. The official calendar sets each day's price and hours. Carné joven (youth card) and student card holders and unemployed people resident in Spain get 15% off at the ticket office only.
Opening hours
Usually opens at 10:00. Closing time varies by season and building: the official calendar gives each day's hours. Ticket offices close an hour before the Science Museum does.

No single ticket

There's no "City of Arts and Sciences" ticket. Each venue charges on its own.

  • Museu de les Ciències (Science Museum), €9.90. The longest visit, about 3 hours on average.
  • Hemisfèric, €8.90. A projection hall with a 900 square metre concave screen. On its own it costs almost as much as the museum.
  • Museu + Hemisfèric, €14.10. Saves €4.70 on separate tickets, and it's the sensible choice if you're skipping the aquarium.
  • All three with the Oceanogràfic, €45.55 in low season. Only if the Oceanogràfic is definitely on your list.

The free part

The photos cost nothing. The Paseo del Arte and the Umbracle's Jardín de Astronomía are free to enter, and you can see every building from outside. If you're short of time or money, that may be enough.

Seller or ticket office

Sellers charge almost the same as the official shop, and you won't have to dig through its calendar. The ticket office only matters for carné joven or student card holders and unemployed people resident in Spain: the 15% discount is given nowhere else.

Driving? Parking costs from €7 a day and is validated with a ticket for any building. Hours change by season and building, so check the day's closing time before an afternoon visit.
