Aquarium only, or all three venues
Low season makes the sums easy. The Science Museum and Hemisfèric cost €14.10 together. Add €37 for the aquarium and you reach €51.10, while the three-venue ticket is €45.55. So the combo wins if you'll really go to all three, and it's wasted money if you won't.
It also works on consecutive days, one venue a day. With 4 hours for the aquarium and about 3 for the museum, splitting it beats cramming, above all with children.
Why the date changes the price
There's no fixed price or opening time here. The official shop works with three seasons, and low to high is a little over €6 per adult, so moving your visit by a day can pay off, especially for a family.
Sellers on this page price close to the official rate, so compare your exact date. The ticket office wins in one case only: carné joven (youth card) and student card holders and unemployed people resident in Spain get a discount there, with proof.
Getting the full four hours
- Go early. On an 18:00 closing, arriving after 14:00 leaves you short.
- Allow half an hour before the dolphin shows if you want a seat: that's the aquarium's own advice.
- Eat inside or afterwards, because re-entry is limited to a few cases.
Driving? Show your ticket at the car park for a flat rate from €7 a day, or €8 in high season and on special holidays. For the other buildings, see the City of Arts and Sciences.

Excellent, Fantastic, Incredible, are some of the words that go through your head as you are leaving the venue. The dolphins show and the walk through the tunnel are the highlight of the visit. Gets a little crowded in parts and shop is a little expensive (like all gift shops) The site is very well organised with plenty of places to eat dotted around, a great day out, well worth visiting, highly recommended:)
