What a daytime visit costs

La Pedrera Essential, €29, is the visit most people take, and it lasts between an hour and an hour and a half. If you live outside Catalonia, that's your price: the €22 rate is for residents there. Ages 12–17 pay €14.50, and up to 11 it's free. Visitors with a disability of 65% or more go free, and their companion pays a reduced rate.

You don't have to buy ahead, but some prices rise at the ticket office and you'd also be queuing. The Barcelona Card takes €7 off the adult Essential ticket if you enter from 14:00.

Rain closes the rooftop

It shuts for safety, so check whether it's open before you pass the entry control. Until your ticket is validated you can rebook free of charge. After that you can't.

For anything else, tickets can't be changed or refunded. The only way out is the €1.90 flexibility insurance, which allows one change of date or time. It pays off with children or tight flight times. With a fixed itinerary you can save the money.

Night or sunrise instead

Night Experience, from €39.50, is a guided tour in Catalan, Spanish, English or Chinese, between 19:00 and 23:00 in winter. It's the one to pick if your days are already full, since it takes no time from anything else.

Sunrise, also from €39.50, covers the courtyards, apartment, attic and rooftop with no general public around.

Winter hours and January closure

From 2 November 2026 to 25 February 2027 it opens 09:00–18:30, with Essential tickets sold until 17:30 and last entry at 17:15. From 26 December to 3 January it stays open until 20:30, and on 1 January it opens at 11:00.

It closes on 25 December and for the whole week of 11–17 January 2027. If your trip falls on those dates, go to Casa Batlló, on the same avenue.

I loved that the guide is very well informed and clear with her explanations and instructions and has good humour . It was an awesome experience. She didn't rush us and gave us the time to ask questions. Loved when the whole tour ended with a nice glass of cava . There was also juice and iced water . A wholesome experience

The guide was very knowledgeable about so many historical tidbits about the house and the peope who lived there and Gaudi himself. The property is incredible to see. It was a very interesting tour and the view from the roof of Passeig de Gracie is incredible.
