Timed, Flex or VIP

The general ticket, from €14.95, is tied to a time slot and suits most people. Flex costs €7 more and lets you walk in at any time during opening hours, which helps if you're fitting Moco between other sights and can't predict when you'll finish. VIP, from €26.95, adds a glass of cava for €12 more than general.

You can also buy at the entrance, but places per slot are limited and you lose the online saving of up to 20%.

The museum gives you a free audio tour and asks you to bring your own headphones, so don't pay extra just for that: compare any card with the official price. A live guide is the upgrade that adds something.

Two museums, one street

Moco is at number 25 on Carrer de Montcada, the same street as the Picasso Museum. With about 60 minutes inside, doing both in a row is easy. On Mondays the Picasso is closed while Moco keeps its 10:00–20:00 hours, so you'll only get this one. If Casa Batlló is on your list, there's an official combined ticket from €35.

Smooth entry, great exhibits, not too crowded. Recommend going early in the day. Learnt a lot about artists that i did not know much about.

The lok and feel of the gallery was wonderful and very aesthetically pleasing. the audio/video guides worked really well and added to the experience. Best of all were the artists chosen and their works. I really enjoyed this visit very much indeed.

The guide explained the whole history behind the series of paintings, about the museum and I really got a good comprehension of the kind of a person Picasso really was.
