Buy at least a day ahead

Buying in advance on the official site drops adults from €16 to €14.40 and children from €10 to €9. On the day, online and the ticket office cost the same. The pack for 2 adults and 2 children is €42, slightly under the €46.80 for four advance tickets.

Special rates are the exception: over-65s and retirees (€10), students and large families can only get them at the ticket office. If MNAC is on the same trip, there's a €20 combined ticket.

Open late, but not everything inside

It's open until midnight Tuesday to Sunday, but from November to February the shops close at 18:00 and the Fran Daurel Museum at 19:00 (18:30 on Mondays). To see both in those months, arrive before 18:00. After that it's a walk round the streets.

From 7 January to 5 February it closes at 20:00 Monday to Thursday, so check your date. On 25 December it's open 10:00–14:00.

Natalis is sold separately

Natalis is the Christmas trail, from 28 November to 4 January, aimed at families. It has its own ticket, so the regular cards on this page won't get you in.

I was really lucky with a beautiful autumn day, but even on a cloudy day I'm sure the views from the Teleferic above all Barcelona would have been just as stunning! The Poble Espayol was definitely my favourite, especially the FIESTA immersive experience! I learned so much about different traditions in Span in such a cool way!
