Opens at 10:00. Closing varies: the city guide gives 16:30 on weekdays and 17:30 at weekends in autumn and winter, and up to 20:00 in summer. On 4 November 2026 it closed at 16:30, with ticket offices and entry until 16:00. Check your date on the zoo's calendar.

Rates you can't buy online

General tickets are €23 online or at the zoo. But the over-65 rate (€11.20), the disability rate (€6) and 20% off for large and single-parent families exist only at the ticket office. The published over-65 rate names no residency condition. If any of these applies to you, don't buy online.

Two adults, two children: €73.80

That's the cost of one visit with children aged 3–12. The annual Family Pass, for a couple and their under-18 children, is advertised on the zoo's site at €70 with no joining fee. Its usual price is higher, so check the offer still stands. We can't confirm that visitors from abroad can buy it.

Winter afternoons are short here

The zoo opens at 10:00, but in autumn and winter you really only get the morning and midday. On 4 November 2026, for example, it closed at 16:30, with ticket offices and entry until 16:00. Check your date on the official calendar. On 25 December it closes in the afternoon.

You can't leave and come back on the same ticket, so don't plan on lunch outside.

The zoo warns that some facilities and areas can't be visited for the time being because of improvement works, while the rest stays open. If you're going for one particular animal, ask first.
